HBC is involved in community missions! Below are some of the Missions we support and are involved in. We have a place for YOU! Come be a part of our family and help the community that we live in!
 
 
 
FOOD DISTRIBUTION
We at Hilton Baptist Church give out food every Tuesday and Thursday from referrals from the United Way.  You should call the United Way at 757-229-2222 *Option 1 and they will call us with your referral.
 
If you have a difficult time getting through contact the church office at 757-595-3300.  You may get food one time every 30 days.  
 
On Tuesdays, we pack your food and have it ready for you for pick up from 10am- 11am pick up.
On Thursdays, you can shop for the food that would want.  You will need to contact the church office for more information about shopping hours. All shopping must be completed by 11am. 
 
PORT
PORT is an Emergency Winter Shelter Program which we at HBC have the privilege of hosting one week in the winter. This program provides emergency shelter to the homeless. Our church along with many other churches and organizations come together to provide food, shelter, clothes and support.
 
We accept donations of Winter clothing, including coats, hats and gloves along with toiletry items year long.  Contact the church office if you would like to donate.  757-595-3300
 

Red Cross Blood Drives

HBC is very involved with the American Red Cross in supporting Hilton Area Churches Blood Drives. You will find information on the scheduled Blood Drives in the Forecast and also located on our events calendar. 
 
2025 Blood Drive will be Monday, September 8th from 1pm-5pm.  You can precheck in on Redcross.com or you can register when you get here. https://www.redcrossblood.org/give.html/find-drive
 
 
Serve the City
Showing Kindness in Practical Ways

Last Friday Community Dinner
The Last Friday of every month we have a dinner for anyone that would like to come.  The dinner is completely free and is served from 5:30pm- 6:30pm.  No reservations are needed, just come and enjoy good food and fellowship!
 
At 6:15pm you will be invited to come and shop in the Food Pantry.  And take home food. Its a great time.  Come and be with us!
