Children's Ministry
Centri-Kid deposits have been paid. Camp is July 26 to 30 at Eagle Eyrie. The camp is for students who have completed grades 3 to 6th. Centri-Kid is home of OMC--Organized Mass Chaos!
PBA Children's Events:
We have participated with other Peninsula Baptist Association Churches to do activities together, like the recent TNT Dynamite Zone event. Coming up on March 20 we will be having an OMC event locally for kids 1 to 6th grades. At Tabernacle Baptist (Colony and Lucas Creek), from 1 to 3 pm, with a rain date of March 27.

Sports
Soccer Spring2010
Once again we are offering the opportunity to participate in organized soccer. Facts: All games played at Temple Baptist- 235 Harpersville Road, Newport News; All games on Saturdays; Eight game season (no make-up games); First game April 10 and final game June 5th (No games on Memorial Day Weekend); (I believe there are changes this year in age break downs) possible teams are if there is enough interest----[ Pre K (4 and 5 year olds), K-1st, 2nd to 4th, 5th to 7th]; shin guards are mandatory, we will use the same shirts before; $15 per player includes fees, end of year celebration and shirts; coaches needed if we are to have any teams in the league. Sign up sheets are available to sign up and express interest.
We had a great year in 2009, already looking forward to 2010.

- Royal Ambassadors for boys 1-6th grade both meet Wednesdays at 6:00 pm
Mission Friends for Preschoolers and Children's Church for children to 5th grade after missions time.
Camp
Centri-Kid a great week of fun and Biblical education too.
Vacation Bible School
We have been working on 2009 VBS, most lead teachers are in place. We nursery care workers for the children of our workers, and we have need of pre-k (4 year olds) lead teacher and helper. See or call Harald if you can help.
VBS for preschool 4 to 6th grades coming August 2 to 6, 2010.
Theme this year: "Saddle Ridge Ranch-Roundin' up questions/Drivin' home answers James 1:5" (Cowboy/western theme).
